Finishing The Waterproofing and Pouring the Floor

The membrane is the final waterproofing layer before the fill and topsoil is put on top of the house.

A galvalume cap will hold the membrane on at the parapet wall.

This is the garage, but all the interior spaces were covered with plastic sheeting and felt at the wall so that when the floor is poured it will "float" and not adhere to the footer or walls.

This pavement I found at the Sunoco station down the road, I will use it for a garage pad and walkway to the front and door to garage.

Waterproofing, Blocking and Fill

The north side was waterproofed before the fill is brought in.

This is the south side and the meager amount of fill we had on site, the nearby pit closed temporarily and put a halt to the waterproofing process. It should open this week so that the top of the structure can be covered in bentonite, insulation, fill and membrane.

With 12 inch block, they filled in the space around the kitchen window and sliding door at the back of the house.

The separation between the two garage doors and the the two windows at the front of the house were blocked in.
